What a blessing to dwell in Gods Word! Sometimes, the business of the world attempts to draw us away from being in the Word. However busy our lives may be, it is so important to dive into the scriptures and seek Gods will and direction. The Bible tells us that we should Let the word of Christ dwell in your richly. We offer a variety of ways for all ages to dwell in Gods Word on Sundays and throughout the week. We pray that you and your family will be strengthened and nourished as you grow in Gods grace and love!

The classes are divided into age-appropriate groups and taught by a wonderful staff of caring teachers. The Sunday school also sponsors a variety of special events throughout the year. Please click here for a calendar of events.
The Sunday school children support two children with their offerings each week. Click here for more information on our Sunday school Mission project!

CONFIRMATION: Confirmation instruction begins in 6th grade and is taught by DCE Jolene Siebarth. In this class, the children will explore God's Word through the "Jesus Company," learn about Martin Luther and begin an introduction into Luther's Small Cathechism. They also spend time in service and committing God's Word to memory through interactive ways. The students will also be expected to complete a minimum of six worship reports a quarter and be active participants in worship and Sunday school. 7-8th grade Confirmation is led by Pastor Steve Albers. Over the span of two years, the six chief parts of Christian doctrine are taught: Ten Commandments, Lords Prayer, Apostles Creed, Office of the Keys and Confession, and the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. The children are also asked to complete weekly memory work assignments, regularly submit brief sermon reports and actively participate in worship. The 7-8th grade class travels for a weekend Confirmation Retreat each fall and takes part in field trips to further enhance their learning. Participation in this class is a requirement for Confirmation.
Classes for both groups meet each Wednesday from September - April from 4-5:15p.m.
