What a blessing to dwell in God's Word! Sometimes, the business of the world attempts to draw us away from being in the Word. However busy our lives may be, it is so important to dive into the scriptures and seek God's will and direction. The Bible tells us that we should "Let the word of Christ dwell in your richly." We offer a variety of ways for all ages to dwell in God's Word on Sundays and throughout the week. We pray that you and your family will be strengthened and nourished as you grow in God's grace and love!

Our congregation is one of five member congregations of Christ Community Lutheran School, which has more than 500 students Pre-K through 8th grade. Our congregation has approximately 45 students there. SUNDAY SCHOOL for preschool - 8th grade is offered every Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30a.m. In Sunday school, the children learn about the love of Jesus by exploring Bible stories in both the Old and New Testament with the Our Life in Christ curriculum. The classes are divided into age-appropriate groups and taught by a wonderful staff of caring teachers. The Sunday school also sponsors a variety of special events throughout the year. CONFIRMATION: Confirmation instruction begins in 6th grade and is taught by DCE Jolene Siebarth. In this class, the children will explore God's Word through the "Jesus Company," learn about Martin Luther and begin an introduction into Luther's Small Cathechism. They also spend time in service and committing God's Word to memory through interactive ways. The students will also be expected to complete a minimum of 15 Worship Notes and be active participants in worship and Sunday school. This class meets in Room 217. 7-8th grade Confirmation is led by Pastor Steve Albers. Over the span of two years, the "six chief parts" of Christian doctrine are taught: Ten Commandments, Lord's Prayer, Apostles' Creed, Office of the Keys and Confession, and the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion. The children are also asked to complete weekly memory work assignments, complete a minimum of 15 Worship Notes and actively participate in worship. The 7-8th grade class travels for a weekend Confirmation Retreat each fall and takes part in field trips to further enhance their learning. Participation in this class is a requirement for Confirmation. This class meets in the Family Life Center. Classes for both groups meet each Wednesday from September - April from 4-5:15p.m.
