Thanksgiving Feast Plans
Preparations are under way for our "Feast" on Monday, Nov. 24.   The classes are busy thinking about foods and decorations.    We will begin with child-friendly worship in the sanctuary at 11:30.   (We will have regular classes for our  Monday students at 9 am -- all families are invited at 11:30 am.)  After worship, we will enjoy the "Feast.   Signup sheets and other details will be on each sign-in table soon. The Feast ends about 12:45 pm. This is a "children with grownups" activity.  

Special Feast SURPRIZE
Mary Himebaugh will join us for the Feast!  Mary served the ELC for 8 years as teacher assistant in primarily the nursery classes.   She is currently working full-time for Special School District as an assistant at Ladue High.   Watch for a special donation envelope in each room as we thank  Mary for her years of service to our students.

More Thanksgiving Plans
We plan to relocate the nursery classroom to the "new" space during Thanksgiving break.   The space has been inspected by Fire and Sanitation, and once we meet their approval, the Bureau of Child Care will complete their visit.  This will be cause for GREAT THANKS!   Many wonderful people have worked together to bring this project to completion.  Rejoice with us!

More Thanks!
We are thankful for Tracy Crews who is now serving as teacher assistant in the nursery classroom on Thursdays.

Developmental Screenings
Students entering Kindergarten next fall will participate in the DIAL screen- ings offered here on Monday, Nov. 10.  Results are generally shared at our January conferences.

Book Orders Due
November book orders went home last week.   Orders are due Friday, Nov. 14.  Books might arrive before Thanksgiving.   Expect another set in early December with delivery before Christmas.

ELC T-Shirts
Delivery is expected on Friday, Nov.14.  Shirts should be distributed beginning Monday, Nov. 17.
