Group Ministry
MUSIC
MINISTRY:
"Worship
the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs" (Psalm
100:2).
Music
plays an important role in the life of Glendale Lutheran Church. Our
music is coordinated by Bill Lubben, Director of Music and Adult Education.
We are blessed with many talented individuals who assist with this ministry.
This group includes percussion, keyboard and accompanists, as well as
a variety of other instrumental musicians.
Adult Choir
meets every Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. from September through May.
Hand
Bell Choir meets every
Thursday morning at 10 a.m.
Rejoice!
Is the children's choir for students in grades 1-5. The choir meets every Wednesday from 4-5:15 p.m. under the direction of Jane Robinson.
Brass Choir
participates in festival services and others as needed.
WOMEN'S
MINISTRY: All women of Glendale Lutheran Church are part of
Women's Ministry.
Our Mission:
To foster Christian growth, render service to our congregation,
community, and to the world, and to promote fellowship among all women
of our congregation.

DEACON'S
MINISTRY: Thirty five men and women are involved in this ministry
of prayer and personal contact. Each of them has between 3 and 12 fellow
members for whom they regularly prayer and serve inb a variety of ways.
WORSHIP MINISTRY:
Acolytes
- are 6th through 8th graders who light the altar candles for Sunday
services.
Altar Guild
- Prepares the chancel for worship and special services.
Greeters
- Welcome worshippers and visitors at each Sunday service.
Lay Readers
- Read Scripture at worship services.
Ushers
- Greet worshippers, distribute bulletins and assist in helping services
to run smoothly.
Worship Planning
Group -
This group seeks to plan the musical aspects of worship, both choral
and instrumental, as well as other nuances for particular Sundays.
Currently, this Group includes Jennifer Buchholz, Tracy Ortstadt and
Joan Schlichter, Bill Lubben and Pastor Albers.
Governing
Board - Many people within our congregation serve on various ministries
such as; President, Vice President, Property, Stewardship, Mission/Evangelism,
Christian Service, Elders, Education, Worship and Women's Ministry.
These various ministries are a vital part of our congregation.

No Adult Bible Study Classes on March 25, April 1, or April 8.
