Pastor Albers has served Glendale Lutheran Church since April, 1979. Previous pastorates include: Christ Lutheran Church, Morgan City, LA (1970-1974) and St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Sadorus, IL (1974-1979). He received a Masters of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO in 1970 and a Master of Arts degree in Speech Communication from the University of Illinois-Urbana in 1983. Currently, he also serves as guest instructor at Concordia Seminary and, for three years, was editor of Concordia Pulpit Resources, a periodical of CPH. In 1998, he authored a book of sermons entitled Front-Page Preaching. His wife, Cathleen, is Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health. They have four children and four grandchildren.
