living the Christian life in our world.
JUST FOR FUN:
BIBLE 101 - The Old Testament
is made up of 39 books. The Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) contain the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Most of the New Testament is written in the form of letters (also known as epistles); the majority of the letters were written by Paul. The Old Testament contains books of poetry, history, prophecy and law. The Ten Commandments can be found in Exodus 10:1-17. Noah and the Flood can be found in Genesis 6:9-8:22. Elijah and the battle of Baal's prophets can be found in 1 Kings 18:16-40. David and Goliath can be found in 1 Samuel 17:1-58. Bible Trivia each month can be found in the Glendale Youth News!
